# Rails_Qx The Rails_Qx gem allows building Rich-Internet-Application (RIA) user interfaces using only Ruby code. All JavaScript/HTML/CSS is automatically generated and packaged through the Rails asset pipeline. Ruby client-side code should be created under the following RoR directories: - app/assets/javascripts - lib/assets/javascripts - vendor/assets/javascripts ## Installation Add this line to your application's Gemfile: ```ruby gem 'rails_qx' ``` And then execute: $ bundle Or install it yourself as: $ gem install rails_qx ## Run the install generator rails g rails_qx install - copies all needed resources files to the ./public directory - adds a "main" controller to the application - adds a "main" view to the application - adds "root 'main#index'" to the routes.rb config - copies a simple "Hello World!" application to ./app/assets/javascripts - removes the file ./app/assets/javascripts/application.js After running the install generator, there should be a working "Hello World!"
