I read books. I like history, economics, and philosophy. My favorite authors are Orwell, Mokyr, and
Austen. I write about the books I read and technology on [[https://blog.siddharthkannan.in/][my blog]].

I work as a Site Reliability Engineer at Mercari in Tokyo, Japan. I work with MySQL, Golang, PHP,
Ansible, and Kubernetes. I have been at Mercari since October 2018.

I graduated from IIT Kharagpur with a masters degree in Mechanical Engineering in April 2018. I
finished my schooling in Navi Mumbai.
