How do I do it?
Here's a simple tutorial that shows you how to export your contacts from an Excel spreadsheet into a CSV file. Once you've done that, just upload the new CSV file to Highrise and you'll be all set.
What does CSV mean anyway?
CSV stands for Comma Separated Values. It means that each bit of contact data is separated by a comma. This makes it possible to parse the data and put it in the right place ("John" in the "First Name" field instead of the "Company" field, for example.)
