# RNA Transcription Given a DNA strand, return its RNA complement (per RNA transcription). Both DNA and RNA strands are a sequence of nucleotides. The four nucleotides found in DNA are adenine (**A**), cytosine (**C**), guanine (**G**) and thymine (**T**). The four nucleotides found in RNA are adenine (**A**), cytosine (**C**), guanine (**G**) and uracil (**U**). Given a DNA strand, its transcribed RNA strand is formed by replacing each nucleotide with its complement: * `G` -> `C` * `C` -> `G` * `T` -> `A` * `A` -> `U` * * * * For installation and learning resources, refer to the [exercism help page][]. [exercism help page]: http://exercism.io/languages/lfe To run the provided tests, you will need `make`. Open a terminal window and run the following from the exercise directory: ```sh make test ``` You should now be able to see the results of the test suite for the exercise. ## Source Hyperphysics [http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/Organic/transcription.html](http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/Organic/transcription.html) ## Submitting Incomplete Solutions It's possible to submit an incomplete solution so you can see how others have completed the exercise.
