Driving Directions

Charing Cross Road runs past the back of the Cinema which fronts on to the East Side of Leicester Square. From noon each day Leicester Sq becomes closed to all vehicle traffic. The nearest car parks are located in Whitcomb Street on the south side of the Square or in China Town.

Public Transport

The nearest Tube Stations are Leicester Square on the Piccadilly & Northern Lines and Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. Both are situated only 2 minutes walk from the cinema.The nearest mainline station is Charing Cross railway station about 5 minutes walk from the cinema.

Local Facility

The cinema is situated in the heart of the West End and is surrounded by bars, restaurants, pubs, clubs of every description.
Nearest cash dispenser is situated next to the Odeon West End on the south side of the square.

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Leicester Square and ODEON Studios are located in the heart of London inside Leicester Square. They are both situated on the East side of the square. Please be aware that Leicester Square is only accessible by foot, with no access to any vehicles after 10am.

The nearest tube station is Leicester Square operating the Piccadilly and Northern lines, with Piccadilly Circus tube station situated just around the corner operating the Piccadilly and Bakerloo lines. Both tube stations are approximately two minutes walk from the cinemas entrance. The nearest train station is London Charring Cross located approximately five minutes walk from the cinema on the Strand.

There are several TFL bus connections leading to Leicester Square. The nearest bus stop is just behind the cinema on Charring Cross Road, multiple bus services operate from here including the Numbers 176, 24, 29, N20, N279, N29, N41 and N5. Bus stops are also situated on Haymarket next to Piccadilly Circus tube station, operating services including Numbers 12, 159, 3, 453, 88, N109, N136, N18, N3, and N97.

The nearest car park is the Leicester Square multi story car park on Whitcomb Street with 247 parking spaces including 3 designated Blue Badge parking spaces; it is situated not far from the cinema just past the south side of Leicester Square; approximately a five minute walk through the square. It is a ticketed car park, charging standard rates.

Taxi and car drop off is possible to the rear of the cinema on Charing Cross Road where a taxi rank is located; please be away that double yellow lines are situated throughout the local area.

ODEON Panton Street, ODEON West End and ODEON Covent Garden are not far from ODEON Leicester Square and ODEON Studios; approximately a five to ten minute walk away.

Access To The Cinema
Access to the cinemas comes via Leicester Square; the cinema is situated within the square on the East side.

ODEON Leicester Square is over two floors, with the first floor not accessible to Wheelchair users of those with limited mobility; access to the first floor is only via stairs with handrails. The entrance to the cinema is through push/pull doors that are open during business hours. The ground floor is all level access, including to the box office, refreshments stand and ticket machines. The ticket machines, including one that is lowered, are situated outside next to the main entrance. The stalls are situated on the ground floor, with complete level access from the foyer. The circle is situated on the first floor accessible only via stairs with handrails on the left of the ground floor foyer. The first floor has a bar area with another refreshments stand available. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

Guest seating is only available within the bar area on the first floor.

Male and female washrooms are located on the ground floor within the Screen and on the first floor within the bar area. A fully accessible washroom is situated adjacent to the standard washrooms within the Screen, accessed with a Radar Key; please ask a member of staff for assistance.

Access Within Screens
ODEON Studios is to the right of the ODEN Leicester Square. Entrance to the foyer is via push/pull doors and a set of automatic doors. The Studios are situated across three floors, all accessible via lift or stairs with handrails; Screen 1 is on the ground floor, Screens 2 and 3 are on the first floor, with Screens 5 and 4 on the second. The box office, refreshments stand and ticket machines are all located on the ground floor. Costa Coffee is also situated on the ground floor, with the counter to the left of the entrances and seating on the right.

Guest seating is available within Costa Coffee to the right of the main entrance.

Male and female washrooms are located on the first floor, with a fully accessible toilet only available within the ground floor foyer.

All Screens at the ODEON Leicester Square and ODEON Studios are fully accessible; please be aware that the first floor circle of the ODEON Leicester Square is not accessible to Wheelchair users of those with limited mobility, the circle is located on the first floor with access only via stairs with handrails.

The Screen at ODEON Leicester Square is spread out over two floors, with the stalls on the ground floor and the circle on the first floor. The stalls are divided into three sections; front stalls, middle stalls and rear stalls. These sections are in three blocks with two centre sloped parallel aisles dividing the seats, a further two sloped aisles are against the auditorium walls. The Screen has four double Wheelchair bays located at the back for the rear stalls, with adjacent companion seating available.

The circle, located on the first floor, has a Royal Circle (front six rows) at the front with more seats towards the back. The back sections of seats are divided by three parallel stepped aisles. The Royal Circle at the front has three blocks of seats separated by two stepped parallel aisles.

Male and female washrooms are located on the ground floor within the Screen and on the first floor within the bar area. A fully accessible washroom is situated adjacent to the standard washrooms within the Screen, accessed with a Radar Key; please ask a member of staff for assistance.

The ODEON Studios Screens are located across three floors; Screen 1 is on the ground floor, Screens 2 and 3 are on the first floor, with Screens 4 and 5 on the second. Each Screen has one block of seats with aisles situated either side, all the Screens have one double Wheelchair bay at the back of the Screen with adjacent companion seating.

Access to the Screens is via lift or stairs with handrails; the lift is directly into the Screen because within the floor foyers there are steps with no access for Wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Male and female washrooms are located on the first floor, with a fully accessible toilet only available within the ground floor foyer.
