# PageMetaFor Controller level method to define the part of the meta tags ```ruby class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base meta_for(:title, :suffix, 'ApplicationName') meta_for(:title, :prefix) { action_name } end class WelcomeController < ApplicationController meta_for(:title) { 'Landing Page' } end ``` Then views and layouts are able to call `page_meta_for`: ```erb <%= page_meta_for(:title, join_string: ' * ') %> ``` It renders the following: ```html Index * Landing Page * ApplicationName ``` If last argument is Hash and there are no block given, a appropriate method will be called ```ruby class ApplicationController < ActionController::Base meta_for(:title, :generate_title) private def generate_title 'Application Name' end end ``` ## Installation Add this line to your application's Gemfile: ```ruby gem 'page_meta_for' ``` And then execute: $ bundle install Or install it yourself as: $ gem install page_meta_for ## Usage ## Development After checking out the repo, run `bin/setup` to install dependencies.
