== Description:

ruby-mpc is an extended C library to use MPC[http://www.multiprecision.org/]
which is the library of the arithmetic of complex numbers with multiprecision.

== Notice:

* Many methods have not been tested sufficiently.
* Documentation is not complete.

== Example:
You must require 'mpfr' to use 'mpc'.

 require "mpfr"
 require "mpc"
 MPFR.get_default_prec(100)
 a = MPC(-8, -2)
 b = MPC(0.3, 4.2)
 c = a / b
 puts c.imag.to_strf("%.30Re")
 puts c.real.to_strf("%.30Re")

== Requirements:

* Ruby[http://www.ruby-lang.org/] 1.9.1 or later
* MPFR[http://www.mpfr.org/] 2.4.1 or later
* MPC[http://www.multiprecision.org/] 0.8.1 or later
* ruby-mpfr

== Install:
The package of rubygems of ruby-mpfr is provided.
You can install ruby-mpfr with the following command
in the system satisfying the above requirements.
 
 $ sudo gem install ruby-mpc
