# ImageTagSilentAlt [![Gem Version](https://badge.fury.io/rb/image_tag_silent_alt.png)](http://badge.fury.io/rb/image_tag_silent_alt) In a call to `image_tag` Rails will set the `alt` attribute to the filename by default. This gem sets an empty `alt` attribute unless it's already been set. ## Installation Add this line to your application's Gemfile: gem 'image_tag_silent_alt' And then execute: $ bundle Or install it yourself as: $ gem install image_tag_silent_alt ## Contributing 1. Fork it 2. Create your feature branch (`git checkout -b my-new-feature`) 3. Commit your changes (`git commit -am 'Add some feature'`) 4. Push to the branch (`git push origin my-new-feature`) 5.
